Repeat notifications for text and email messages
Under HKCU/ControlPanel/Notifications find the following keys for Email and Text messages:
A877d65Axxxxxxx
A877d65Bxxxxxxx
Also find Key 15F11F90xxxx for reminders.
Copy the Options value from the Reminders key and overwrite the options value in both email and text message keys with this value (1073741853)
Once you do this, go to start - settings - sounds and notifications - notifications.
UNder events, select new email message OR new text message and you'll notice that th repeat option that was greyed out is now enabled and can be selected.

Good job but...
In my case, the green led does not change to orange and the notification, even after checked the message, remains pending.
The only solution that I found was to clean the notification queue (pmClean recommended).
Another detail (I do not know if it is useful) the value 1073741853 in my ppc is 10737418"39".
My device:
HTC Wizard (Cingular 8125, QTEK A9100)
WM 5
2.26.17.1. ESN
Best Regards
P.S. Excuse me for my english...
I've unchecked the "repeat" notification checkboxes for email and SMS, yet my device keeps repeating the new email notifications until I mark all messages is read. I'd like to have my device check for new email every 15 minutes, yet only sound an alert if there is a NEW unread message. If someone sends me a new email at 2:00 AM, I don't want the device to beep and "remind" me every 15 minutes forever. Is there a registry hack out there to accomplish what I want? Thx.
It seems that removing the sms message is the only solution at this moment.
I can't get my text msg notifications to stop. Even if I delete the entry in the notification queue. ARRGHH!
I tried this for Text messages(pages) on my XV6700 PPC. It does repeat the audible alert but it does it continuously until I soft reset the phone. I tried deleting the text message etc. This tweak needs to be tweaked!!
I also did this tweak, but as the above post, once soft reset the mods are gone, just buy Phone Alarm Lite which I did, and was very happy with the program which can do alot.
