Show Date and Time in Title Bar
The Pocket PC display the time in the title bar, the user can select Analog or Digital using tap&hold on the time. But some people also want the date to be easily available, this was actually available on Palm-size PC devices. Fortunately there is a tweak to display both the date and time instead of time only in the Pocket PC title bar :
Browse to
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\
Create a binary value named "TBOpt" and set its value to "13 00 00 00".
Save any unsaved document and reset your Pocket PC.

There is nothing in the overrides section on a treo 700w
it simply does not work on jasjar.
it shows perfectly in the today's screen but not when you're IN the time and date configuration. The M in the AM/PM has been changed to number '4'. Any explaination on this?
hi.. how to undo to the default? i del the "TBOpt".. and did a soft reset.. in the end.. it still show the date
"Cut" the binary "TBOpt" instead of deleting, and make sure you exit the editor properly.
I have the same problem as don, only my M is replaced by 6. ANY HELP PLEASE????
This worked great on my ipaq hx2755! The time and date are stacked on top of each other and I would have liked to see them side by side (there is enough room). Anyone know if theres a way to do that?
It's work well also on hp h6515
it works on my WM2003 SE. Very interesting tweak. Thanks.
I can confirm that registry hack works on i-mate Jasjar with JASJAR_WWE_13076_164_10900_wwe_ship.zip
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shell\
Create a binary value named "TBOpt" and set its value to "13 00 00 00"
I also have the problem with the AM & PM getting jacked up. In my case, the M is replace with 11. I believe my PPC also used to show seconds before I did this tweak, and now it does not :(
for time and date configuration, enclose M with ' in order for it to be displayed as AM and PM.
How to include the AM/PM notation on the top taskbar:
1) Open ur registry editor (either PHM Registry Editor or Resco Explorer 2003).
2) Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\nls\overrides
3) Create 1st String Value: Name = S1159 & String = Am
4) Create 2nd String Value: Name = S2359 & String = Pm
5) Create 3rd String Value: Name = STFmt & String = hh:mm t'M '
6) Soft-reset.
Will this works on WM5 ? I'm using Atom Exec.
Please confirm.
Thanks before
Have problems with an Asus 632N and WM5. Time and date are overlayed by battery smbol in today screen. What to do?
It works on my Dopod 838 Pro, but I need to follow additional step as advised by Admin :
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\nls\overrides
Change the value of ?SSDte' to the date format :"dd MMM yy '
If there isn't any space after the "yy", the last digit will not displayed.
Thanks. (",)
Works on Mio A701

How to use tweaks
In order to change registry settings, you'll need a registry editor. You can download the free PHM Registry editor here
Note that editing the registry can mess up windows mobile. Always take a backup of your data
